Design development is a critical phase in the architectural process where initial design concepts are refined and developed into a detailed design. During this phase, architects work with clients and stakeholders to ensure that the design meets their needs and expectations while also meeting regulatory requirements.
Limiting revisions during the design development phase is crucial to the success of an architectural project. It helps to maintain project scope, preserve the integrity of the design, and build trust between the architect and the client.
In this project we developed three proposals only for the client to abandon the project. Lesson learnt!
